Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how TrashMon handles information in the TrashMon Android game (package com.trashmon.game) and on its official website, trashmon.com. “We” and “us” refer to the developer operating TrashMon.
The privacy contact for the game and this website is personaldevapp@proton.me. You can use this address for privacy questions, requests or concerns.
Data in the game
TrashMon is an offline game. It does not require an account or sign-in. The game does not send gameplay progress, card collections, achievements or sound settings to the developer.
The current game includes no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking services or automatic crash-reporting SDKs. It does not collect advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, camera recordings or microphone recordings. Gameplay does not require access to those features.
The Android operating system and Google Play operate separately from the game and may process installation, update, security or diagnostic information under their own settings and policies. This is not an analytics or tracking service added to TrashMon. Where available, we may use developer reports supplied by Google Play to understand installation and app stability; these reports are supplied by Google, rather than an analytics SDK in the game.
Local saves and deletion
Run progress, selected character, card collection, achievements, daily-haul progress and preferences are stored on your device. The Android app uses local app storage and device preferences. A browser-based version uses browser storage. These records are used to resume the game and remember your choices; we do not receive them.
On Android, you can delete local saves through Settings → Apps → TrashMon → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data. Menu names vary by device. Uninstalling the app removes its app-local data under normal Android behaviour. On the web, clear the browser’s site data for the address where you played. Deletion resets your progress, and we cannot restore it because we do not keep a server copy.
The Android build disables Android app-data backup. Copies that you deliberately save or share outside the app, such as an exported support-message file, must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them.
Support and sharing you choose
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message and any attachments or other details you choose to provide. We use this information to answer your request, investigate a reported issue and provide follow-up support. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or unrelated sensitive information.
The in-game contact form prepares a message locally, including the app version, selected topic, optional reply address and the text you enter. Preparing or copying it does not send it to us. We receive a message only if you choose to send it through an email app or another service. “Suggest a friend” and other sharing actions likewise happen only when you initiate them; the chosen app or service handles the information you share.
We do not automatically attach your save file, device identifier or gameplay history to a support message. You control whether to include screenshots, logs or other supporting material.
Visiting this website
The website serves static pages and locally hosted images, styles and fonts. It does not use analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, third-party font services or cookies. The website itself does not create a user profile or use browser storage to track visitors.
Delivering a page over the internet necessarily involves processing technical connection information, including your IP address, the requested address, browser-supplied headers and connection timing. The website host and network services process this information to deliver pages and keep the service available and secure.
This website configuration does not enable routine HTTP access logging. Limited connection or error information may appear in operational or security diagnostics when a problem occurs. Operational container logs are size-limited and rotated. We do not use connection information to build advertising profiles.
Service providers and other disclosures
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share gameplay data with advertisers or data brokers. Local gameplay records are not uploaded to us.
Website hosting and infrastructure providers process the technical data necessary to deliver and protect this website. Our contact mailbox is provided by Proton Mail; email services used by you and by us process correspondence to deliver and store it. You can read Proton’s privacy policy for its own practices.
We may disclose information we actually hold when required by law, a valid legal process, or when necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Access to support correspondence is limited to handling those purposes and your request.
Links to Google Play or other external services open services governed by their own privacy policies. Hosting and email processing locations depend on the provider. If a privacy request concerns processing outside your country, contact us for information about the applicable service arrangements and any transfer safeguards required by law.
Retention and security
Game saves: local records remain until you clear the relevant app or browser data or remove the app. We do not hold a remote copy to retain or delete.
Support correspondence: messages are kept for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request and related follow-up. They are then deleted unless further retention is needed to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. You can ask us to delete correspondence associated with your email address.
Website diagnostics: any operational records are kept only as needed for availability, troubleshooting and security. Container logs are overwritten through size-based rotation, rather than retained as a permanent history of visits.
The public website uses HTTPS. Game saves are kept within device-local app or browser storage, subject to the security of your device. We restrict access to information sent to our support mailbox. No method of storage or internet communication can be guaranteed completely secure; avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can play without creating an account, decline to send a support message, and delete your local progress using the steps above. There is no TrashMon account to delete.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply to personal information we handle, the purposes and legal bases are responding to requests and troubleshooting under our legitimate interests, providing support you request where necessary to perform a contract, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Our legitimate interests include maintaining a secure website and resolving problems reported by players.
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information we hold about you. These rights apply subject to the conditions and exceptions in the relevant law. Email personaldevapp@proton.me; we may ask for limited information necessary to verify and fulfil your request. We cannot access or identify a device’s local saves remotely.
You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Children’s information
The game does not ask for a date of birth or intentionally collect personal information from children through gameplay. Parents and guardians should supervise information children choose to send through email or other external services. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should be removed, contact personaldevapp@proton.me.
Changes and contact
If the game or website changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app or website notice. This policy describes the current offline game and the website configuration supplied with this release.
